Learning Outcomes

The students will be able to

1.identify the meanings of new vocabulary items in specific contexts related to business English.

2. differentiate between the formal and informal language usage.

3. analyze the authentic language usage through reading texts.

4. practice their vocabulary and grammar skills by using them in writing and speaking activities.

5.have extensive word knowledge based on computer and technology.

6. apply their language skills to telephone conversation and utilize the basic steps like how to answer the telephone, how to tell the caller to wait for a second etc.

7. write e-mails related to speacific topics,differentiate the rules of daily e-mails and business e-mails, and write e-mails taking this difference into consideration.

 1-  Determine the strategy-structure alternatives for the different organizational structures and cultures, and prepare the strategies suitable for the organizational goals.
 2-  Diagnose the problems by analyzing the organizational systems operations and performance indicator values, investigate the causes of problems and decide the solution options.

 7-  Establish and develop the infrastructure of information technology that stores, combines, reports and analyze the data coming from the surroundings and operating activities of business.
 8-  Know and use the basic business information systems (production, marketing, supply and logistics, human resources, accounting, finance).
 9-  Use mathematical models and statistical techniques.
 10-  Know and use the software project management, mobile trade, e-trade, economy, data base, technology trends.
 11-  Determines the necessary softwares for busineses, set up network if necessary, determines the systems, update the information system by following the developments in technology.
 12-  Collect the necessary information for his ideas and projects, and perform them.
 13-  Know the effective communication techniques.
 14-  Have at least one sufficient foreign language knowledge to follow the innovations in his workspace.
 15-  Develop visual content for web sites and web site desing.
 16-  Develop mobile and desktop applications using web programming languages.
 17-  Learn basic networking concepts and use server operating systems.
 18-  Use artificial intelligence algorithms and methods to perform applications.
 19-  Develop an algorithm to the problem, learn the basic programming elements.
