At the end of the program, the student;

  • Gains an understanding of Polymer Analysis methods.
  • Using different polymerization methods Block / Graft copolymer synthesis and characterization made evaluation.
  • Becomes able to perform researches and applications about Polymer Analysis.

1 The synthesis of linear copolymers by anionic polymerization technique, chemical modification and combination of different polymerization methods.
2 The synthesis of linear copolymers by cationic polymerization technique, chemical modification and combination of different polymerization methods.
3 The synthesis of linear copolymers by living free radical polymerization technique, chemical modification and combination of different polymerization methods.
4 The synthesis of linear copolymers by living free radical polymerization technique, chemical modification and combination of different polymerization methods.
5 Non linear copolymers: Star block copolymers.
6 Non linear copolymers: Star block copolymers.
7 Graft copolymers

11 The solibility properties block kopolimers. Adsorption of block copolymers at solid-liquid interfaces. The phsical properties block kopolimers and chain structure.

13 Investigation of synthesis and characterization of polymers by end group analysis, viscometry, refractive index, dilatometry, colligative properties, light scattering, chromatography(GPC and HPLC)
14 Investigation of synthesis and characterization of Polymers by spectroscopic methods(UV-Vis, IR and NMR), sedimentation, thermal methods(TGA, DSC and DMA) and measurements of mechanical properties
