Qualification Awarded

Students are awarded with a Short Cycle Degree in Foreign Trade upon successful completion of all the requirements in the curriculum programme and fulfilling all other requirements for graduation

Objectives

Will have the basic theoretical and practical knowledge and skills in the fields of Foreign Trade theory.

Specific Admission Requirements

Students' admission to higher education is based on a nation-wide Student Selection Examination (ÖSS). The examination is held once in a year and is administered by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM). Candidates gain access to institutions of higher education based on their composite scores consisting of the scores on the selection examination and their high school grade point averages

Specific Arrangements for Recognition of Prior Learning

The students of our University have the right to request the recognition of their prior learning at different universities. For the recognition of their prior learning, they should submit their transcript and course contents to the relevant department in the first semester of their registration year.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations

The requirements for getting Short Cycle Degree are to complete (96) credit hours as diveded below and to fulfill all other requirements. a)(86) Credit hours covering (36) compulsory courses as detailed in the curriculum. b)(10) Credit hours covering (6) optional courses as detailed in the curriculum. c) That students have the course training composed of 30 working days after their lesson terms is obligated.

Access to Further Studies

After completing the short cycle degree programme, if students pass the graduate transfer examination it is possible to continue further studies in the first cycle degree programme that can last up to 2 years.

Examination Regulations, Assesment and Grading

Each student must attend the courses, applied studies, laboratories, projects, seminars, workshops, graduation projects and other studies of the semester. Examinations are generally in written form. However, the instructor of the course may decide to conduct the exam in the form of an oral exam, project or assignment on condition that s/he states it on the course information form. Students who have not attended at least 70% of theoretical courses are not allowed to take the final exam of those courses. Once the student fulfilles the attendance requirements in theoretical courses, no attendance is required if the course is repeated later.

Graduation Requirements

Requirements imposed upon all undergraduate students in the University -Requirements established by the Foreign Trade. All of these will be satisfied by completing the requirements in a period of no more than 8 semesters, including semesters at other universities

Graduates who successfully complete this program;
