Qualification Awarded

Students in curriculum and graduation requirements successfully completed all the requirements, then \\\\\\\"Alternative Energy Sources\\\\\\\" Technology Associate degrees are awarded with the field.

Objectives

Alternative Energy Sources for the University to do all the investment in our region, direct and integrated use of these rich resources in all areas; Stages of setup and operation of facilities; to do research, and development activities, facilities and intermediate element in the provision of technical staff aims to be a national brand.

Specific Admission Requirements

Students to Higher Education University Entrance Exam (Student Selection and Placement Examination) to be considered through an examination is based. Examinations performed once a year, the Student Selection and Placement Center (OSYM) are organized (www.osym.gov.tr). Applicants to higher education institutions, their score and Secondary Education from the University Entrance examination mean score composed by the combination may enter a rating. By Law No. 4702 Vocational and Technical Secondary School Vocational School graduates can be disposed without examination.

Specific Arrangements for Recognition of Prior Learning

University students who enroll in our earlier study they have succeeded in higher education institutions can apply for exemption from the courses. For this, transcripts and course content with a petition in the first week of registration year must submit to the relevant departments.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations

Conditions to receive an Associate Degree, the following distribution (120 ECTS) credits to complete and fulfill the other requirements are: a. Specified in the curriculum (22) into the area of ​​compulsory courses 86 ECTS credits b.müfredat specified in (8) into the field of 26 ECTS credits of elective courses c.endüstriyel based training internship (8 ECTS)

Profile of The Programme

Natural energy sources such as solar, wind, geothermal energy use is still limited, such as more efficient use of renewable energy sources will provide training and project work done and equipped personnel in this field of work for the realization of cultivation. 
Because of the nature of being a technical program, students receive during the course of theoretical knowledge as well as practical training skills are developing a condensed. Classes for the project and the increasing interest of industry to stay current on market information are provided. 
Our workshops, vocational and computer labs, internet facilities, in addition to our competent and young academic staff with other schools in the equivalent program separated from the Alternative Energy Resources Technology Program has given graduates of the sector in need of qualified staff are trained.

Program Learning Outcomes
After successful completion of this program, the students will be able to;
 1-  1- Students will have basic knowledge and skills related to their profession 2- Students will be able to use advanced level package programs used in information technologies related to their profession. 3- Students will be able to demonstrate their theoretical knowledge of their professional field. 4- Students will gain the ability to adopt to the working environment, working conditions and team-work.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates

Alternative Energy Resources Technology graduates, power generation, transmission, distribution and use of the designer or practitioner in the field of business areas as wide as you can find. Graduates; Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA), a subunit, MTA, Electrical Power Resources Survey Administration (EIE), Electricity Generation Co. (EGC), Turkey Electricity Transmission Company (TEİAŞ), Turkey Electricity Distribution Co. (TEDAŞ), DSI, Turkey Coal Enterprises (TKI), TPAO, BOTAS, TÜPRAŞ and can work in taek. Furthermore, in the country of biofuels, geothermal, wind and hydro power plants, investing in job opportunities in the private sector are going to have.

Examination Regulations, Assesment and Grading

Each student classes, the referenced studies, laboratories, projects, seminars, workshops, graduation projects and other studies of the period that records must attend. At least 70% of theoretical courses and laboratory studies, 80% of the students who participate in the final exam of those courses are not permitted to enter. Show contributions in theoretical courses students need, when you will be back later if the course is not mandatory for this course. Examinations are generally in written form. However, the course instructor to specify information form, provided that if you want exams, projects and assignments so make verbal. Exams are done by the course instructor entered and edited. Make-up exams, final exams within 15 days after the board\\\'s audit and after the adoption is made to students with a documented disability documentation.

Graduation Requirements

The student failed a course should not be a GPA of at least 2.00 (over 4) should be considered for internship work must have been.
