Students are awarded with a Short Cycle Degree in Marketing upon successful completion of all the requirements in the curriculum programme and fulfilling all other requirements for graduation

Short Cycle Degree


The graduate gains the fundamental theoretical and practical knowledge and skills in the field of marketing. To dominate the preperations and the applications of pre sale, sale and after sale. To be knowledgeable about the customer behaviours and to determine long term relationship strategies
To denote to learn independently in field concerning marketing and to be able to perform that had been learnt. 
To have the knowledge intermediate for foreign language in field. 

Specific Admission Requirements

Students' admission to higher education is based on a nation-wide Student Selection Examination (ÖSS). The examination is held once a year and is administered by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM). Candidates gain access to institutions of higher education based on their composite scores consisting of the scores on the selection examination and their high school grade point averages. (

Specific Arrangements for Recognition of Prior Learning

The students of our University have the right to request the recognition of their prior learning at different universities. For the recognition of their prior learning, they should submit their transcript and course contents to the relevant department in the first semester of their registration year.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations

The requirements for getting Short Cycle Degree are to complete 97 national and 120 ECTS credit hours as listed below and to fulfill all other requirements. a)(79) Credit hours covering (31) compulsory courses as detailed in the curriculum. b)(18) Credit hours covering (7) elective courses as detailed in the curriculum. c)Students are to do an internship of 30 working days after the end of the semestre./>

Profile of The Programme

The goal of the program, public and private sector in marketing activities will run between knowledge and equipped to train manpower. Diploma and associate degree graduates of this program is awarded Vocational Element. Alumni, business marketing, sales clerk, call the advertising department staff, can work as civil servants in public institutions.

Program Learning Outcomes
After successful completion of this program, the students will be able to;
 1-  .have sufficient background on the subjects as Business, Law, Accountancy, Business Administration and Management, have the basic information fields and field and have the necessary infrastructure to be required by the subjects,apply theoretical and practical knowledge gained . . . . . .
 2-  Make researches by using the knowledge and skills gained in marketing, researching, interpret and evaluate data, define problems, analyze, and also have the ability to develop evidence-based solutions.
 3-  Use and choose the tools and information technologies that are required for e-commerce-related applications of modern techniques in an effective manner
 4-  Produce solutions unforeseen situations in applications related to their field, take the responsibility in teams, gain the ability to create individual work
 5-  Gain oral and written communication skills in Turkish, and have sufficent foreign language knowledge to follow the effective communication techniques and innovations in the field
 6-  Have conciousness on the legislation about marketing in managing the activities carried out in the field , and obey this legislation in acts
Occupational Profiles of Graduates

Successfully complete this program in companies with sales staff, sales representatives, sales managers or public relations and advertising agency acting as the customer service representative can take 

Access to Further Studies

After completing the short cycle degree programme, it is possible for the students to continue further studies in the first cycle degree programme that can last up to 2 years, on condition that they pass the Vertical Transfer Examination.

Examination Regulations, Assesment and Grading

Each student must attend the courses, applied studies, laboratories, projects, seminars, workshops, graduation projects and other studies of the semester. Examinations are generally in written form. However, the instructor of the course may decide to conduct the exam in the form of an oral exam, project or assignment on condition that s/he states it on the course information form. Students who have not attended at least 70% of theoretical courses are not allowed to take the final exam of those courses. Once the student fulfills the attendance requirements in theoretical courses, no attendance is required if the course is to be repeated later.

Graduation Requirements

 To be succesfull from all the courses required for graduation within the time period defined in the related regulation and to finish the study programme with the GPA of at least 2.00 To do an internship of 30 weekdays

Graduates who successfully complete this program;
 1. have high level information and skills supported by the course books that include the most recent information, application equipment and other scientific sources related to education technologies, teaching profession, general information and basic sciences; use these informations and skills in daily life and in jobs,
