Qualification Awarded

Students are awarded with a Short Cycle Degree in Marketing and Foreign Trade upon successful completion of all the requirements in the curriculum programme and fulfilling all other requirements for graduation.

The main purpose of marketing and foreign trade program, to meet the need for qualified personnel in related fields. This purpose, in addition to the basic educational philosophy of the marketing program, consistent with the requirements of the contemporary business world to provide vocational training

Specific Admission Requirements

Higher Education Students (YGS) Higher Education Examination is considered through an examination based upon a. Examinations performed once a year, the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) are organized (www.osym.gov.tr). Candidates are accepted according to higher education institutions, and school grade scores on the YGS exam consisting of a combination of average points score by law Vocational Schools Vocational and Technical Secondary School graduates may be placed without any exam by the law 4702.

Specific Arrangements for Recognition of Prior Learning

The students of our University have the right to request the recognition of their prior learning at different universities. For the recognition of their prior learning, they should submit their transcript and course contents to the relevant department in the first semester of their registration year.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations

The requirements for getting Second Cycle Degree are to complete 120 ECTS credit hours as listed below and to fulfill all other requirements
a.(91) ECTS Credit hours covering (22) compulsory courses as detailed in the curriculum. b.(29) ECTS Credit hours covering (11) elective courses as detailed in the curriculum.

Profile of The Programme

The main purpose of this section is to build students' educational, psychological and communicative skills for training members of profession in the field of Marketing and Foreign Trade. Forms the basic skills for profession in Marketing and Foreign Trade. Provides full quality for the member of profession to work for marketing and sales departments and banks.

Program Learning Outcomes
After successful completion of this program, the students will be able to;
 1-  Legal, accounting, management and governance issues, and have the basic information required for the area having adequate infrastructure issues, to gain theoretical and practical knowledge in these areas.
 2-  Using the basic level knowledge and skills in the field, interpret and evaluate data, identify problems, to analyze, to have the ability to develop evidence-based solutions. Professional environment and be able to design using the tools related to the field, to have the ability to plan and project implementation.
 3-  Solution for applications related to the field encounters unexpected situations, teams gain the ability to take on responsibility, or self-study ability.
 4-  Life-long awareness of the need to follow the developments in science and technology and continuous self-renewal kazanmak.Kamu awareness and / or private sector organizations related to the field by examining the processes in place to gain the ability to apply
 5-  Turkish acquire oral and written communication skills, effective communication techniques and innovations in the field to follow the prevailing level of knowledge of a foreign language that are required for applications related to olmak.vAlanı modern techniques, tools, and select and the effective use of information technologies. Ability to use basic computer software and hardware required by the field to win.
 6-  In the marketing of property in relation to the definition of the data required for the solution of well-posed problems, collect and gain the ability to perform effectively.
 7-  Marketing practices in the business for unexpected situations will be able to identify problems and search for a solution.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates

The occupational profiles of the graduates contain:
-Professional readiness
-Level of professional adaptibility to conditions
-Requirements from the practice or basic professional education as the precondition for their professional career

Access to Further Studies

After completing the short cycle degree programme, it is possible for the students to continue further studies in the first cycle degree programme on condition that they succeed in Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS).

Examination Regulations, Assesment and Grading

In the evaluation of course grading, depending on the type of the course, oral exams, homeworks, projects or laboratory works are taken into consideration. As for the assesment of the examinations; one midterm exam and/or other studies which take the place of mid-term exam has the contribution of 40% and the contribution of the final exam to the course grade is 60%. The research projects in the students'own fields are conducted by the teaching staff for the students' own development. A make-up exam is given to students with certified excuses accepted by the relevant executive board within one day after the final examinations are over.

Graduation Requirements

The requirements to graduate from Marketing and Foreign Trade Department are based on the following conditions:
*to be succesfull from all the courses required for graduation within the time period defined in the related regulation and to finish the study programme with the GPA of at least 2.00
*to do an internship of 30 weekdays

Graduates who successfully complete this program;
 1. have high level information and skills supported by the course books that include the most recent information, application equipment and other scientific sources related to education technologies, teaching profession, general information and basic sciences; use these informations and skills in daily life and in jobs,
