Veterinary Animal Nutrition and Nutritional Diseases Collabrative PhD Programme
Qualification Awarded

The gained diploma degree is “PhD Degree in Veterinary Animal Nutrition and Nutritional Diseases Programme”.

Level of Qualification

Third Cycle Degree, PhD.

Objectives

The aim of the course is to acquire skills to the students on animal nutrition and nutritional diseases and feedstuffs .

Specific Admission Requirements

Students with a first cycle degree from Veterinary Faculty and second cycle degree from Agricultural Faculty- Zootechnics  accepted to Animal Science Third Cycle Degree Programs.

Specific Arrangements for Recognition of Prior Learning

Third Cycle Degree Programme students who are registered with vertical transfer have the right to request the recognition of their prior learning. For the recognition of their prior learning, they should submit their transcript and course contents to the relevant department in the first week of their registration semester.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations

The requirements for getting Animal Science Third Cycle Degree Programme are to complete 120 ECTS credit hours including at least seven courses the credit of which is above 21 National Credits, a seminar and thesis study.

Profile of The Programme

Animal Nutrition and Nutritional Diseases Collaborative Doctorate Programme of Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Health Sciences Institute was established in 2013.

Program Learning Outcomes
After successful completion of this program, the students will be able to;
 1-  Students who complete this program, will have information on feedstuffs and their properties.
 2-  Completing this program, students acquire skills related to animal nutrition.
 3-  Students who complete this program, acquires the ability to feed formulation.
 4-  Completing this programe, students acquire skills related to nutritional diseases.
 5-  Students who complete this program, will have information on preventive medicine.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates

At the end of Third Cycle Degree Programme, the students can work in the state, university and in private sector.

Access to Further Studies

It is possible for the Veterinary Animal Nutrition and Nutritional Diseases third cycle Programme students to continue academic staff.

Examination Regulations, Assesment and Grading

Mid-Term Examination 40%, Final Examination 60%.

Graduation Requirements
