Qualification Awarded

Students are awarded with a Short Cycle Degree in "Computer Programing " upon successful completion of all the requirements in the curriculum programme and fulfilling all other requirements for graduation.

Objectives

At the end of Computer Technology Programme, the student will;

Will have general information about computer technology. Advanced level of programming you can find suggestions for a solution. Will have general information about the network and microprocessors. Graduate education provides the skills necessary to continue. Well-made definition of the field of Computer Technology and Programming the data required for the solution of problems of defining, collecting, and use effectively can make a theoretical knowledge to practical applications, hands and / or intellectual skills indicates that illicit substances. Designs and practices related to the field of Computer Technologies and Programming colleagues, superiors, and serves individuals and groups can clearly explain and teamwork. Independently in the field of Computer Technology and Programming shows learning and can apply what they have learned. Unforeseen situations in the field of Computer Technology and Programming related issues in the study of identifying and gaining the ability to search for a solution shows. Under the responsibility of objectively assesses and monitors the performance of employees. Level would be sufficient in the field of foreign language skill.With the knowledge of basic computer usage, I use software and hardware required by the profession. Space-related issues, social responsibility, ethical values ​​and social security rights will have the knowledge and awareness. Issues related to the field, occupational safety, occupational health and environmental protection will have the knowledge and awareness.
Specific Admission Requirements

Students' admission to higher education is based on a nation-wide Student Selection Examination (ÖSS). The examination is held once in a year and is administered by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM). Candidates gain access to institutions of higher education based on their composite scores consisting of the scores on the selection examination and their high school grade point averages.

Specific Arrangements for Recognition of Prior Learning

The students of our University have the right to request the recognition of their prior learning at different universities. For the recognition of their prior learning, they should submit their transcript and course contents to the relevant department in the first semester of their registration year.

Profile of The Programme

Computer Programming Department trains graduates who are able to appreciate current technologies and use this information to attain accession to the newest knowledge or produce the newest knowledge.

Program Learning Outcomes
After successful completion of this program, the students will be able to;
Occupational Profiles of Graduates

The graduates are trained with readiness for professional life together with the ability to keep up with legal and technical actuality.

Access to Further Studies

After learning Associate Degree, students can continue their undergraduate study lasting 2 years.
Graduates receive the title of associate.

Examination Regulations, Assesment and Grading

Each student must attend the courses, applied studies, laboratories, projects, seminars, workshops, graduation projects and other studies of the semester s/he is enrolled for. Students who have not attended at least 30 % of theoretical courses and 20% of applied and laboratory studies are not allowed to take the final exam of those courses. Once the student fulfills the attendance requirements in theoretical courses, no attendance is required if the course is to be repeated later.
Examinations are generally in written form. However, the instructor of the course may decide to conduct the exam in the form of an oral exam, project or assignment on condition that s/he states it on the course information form (syllabus). Examinations are arranged and conducted by the instructors teaching the courses. A make-up exam is given to students with certified excuses accepted by the relevant executive board within 15 days after the final examinations are over.

Graduation Requirements

Graduation is subject to the following requirements:
1. Requirements imposed upon all undergraduate students in the University
2. Requirements for all students in the Vocational High School
3. Requirements established by the Department of Computer Technology
All of these will be satisfied by completing the requirements in a period of no more than 8 semesters, including semesters at other universities.
