After completing all conditions and requirements in the curriculum successfully and they graduate with Associate's degree in the field of "Finance Banking and Insurance Trade".

Short Cycle Degree

Objectives

To fulfill education freely at Finance,Banking and Insurance area and to show that one can apply what is learnt. To have foreign language at adequate level in Finance Banking and Insurance Area.

Specific Admission Requirements

Students' admission to higher education is based on a nation-wide Student Selection Examination (ÖSS). The examination is held once in a year and is administered by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM). Candidates gain access to institutions of higher education based on their composite scores consisting of the scores on the selection examination and their high school grade point averages.

Specific Arrangements for Recognition of Prior Learning

The students of our University have the right to request the recognition of their prior learning at different universities. For the recognition of their prior learning, they should submit their transcript and course contents to the relevant department in the first semester of their registration year.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations

The requirements for getting Short Cycle Degree are to complete 107 credit hours and to fulfill all other requirements.
a)27 credit hours at 1st semestre, 26 credit hours at 2nd semestre, 28 credit hours at 3rd semestre, 26 credit hours at 4th semestre.
b)Students should undergo training for 30 working days.

Profile of The Programme

The aim of the programme is to train intermadiate staff at accounting area. During their education, students are taught information and skills at accounting and tax areas. Diploma at Short Cycle Degree is given to the students who graduated from the programme.

Program Learning Outcomes
After successful completion of this program, the students will be able to;
Occupational Profiles of Graduates

Students work in Finance, Banking and Insurance departmants in bussiness sector.

Access to Further Studies

At the end of the Shorth Cycle Degree, if the students win DGS exam they can continue their education at First Cycle Degree. Or students can enter AÖF without any exam.

Examination Regulations, Assesment and Grading

Each student must attend the courses, applied studies, laboratories, projects, seminars, workshops, graduation projects and other studies of the semester s/he is enrolled for. Students who have not attended at least 70 % of theoretical courses and 80 % of applied and laboratory studies are not allowed to take the final exam of those courses. Examinations are generally in written form. However, the instructor of the course may decide to conduct the exam in the form of an oral exam, project or assignment on condition that s/he states it on the course information form (syllabus). Examinations are arranged and conducted by the instructors teaching the courses. A make-up exam is given to students with certified excuses accepted by the relevant executive board within seven days after the final examinations are over.
