Objectives
The purpose of biomedical equipment technology program, the instruments used for diagnosis and treatment in the health field and installation of equipment, technical operation, maintenance and repair is to train qualified people to work in the field.
Specific Admission Requirements
Professional, Technical, Anatolian Vocational and Technical High Schools Anatolian branches of Electrical and Electronics field with graduate students may register without examination or ygs.

Profile of The Programme
In this program, a two-year associate degree-level education is mainly theoretical and practice.Biomedical companies and hospitals will serve as the technical services of technical personnel, as well as promotional device companies, sales and application staff are trained as technical staff to work in call quality.The program each year, 40 students from vocational high school and high school level are recorded.
Program Learning Outcomes
After successful completion of this program, the students will be able to;
 1-  To be able to understand basic concepts and terminology, and use them for the field of biomedical technology.
 2-  To be able to understand the physiological signal processing techniques and test the components involved in measurement applications.
 3-  To be able to understand the electromechanic, hydrolic, pnomatic systems in biomedical equipments and appyl them to troublehoot medical equipment and support system
 4-  To be able to test and measure the medical device using with circuit analysis techniques
 5-  To be able to analyse with the fundemantals of electric and electronic knowledge in the field of the medical electronic
 6-  To be able to establish cause-effect relations with the medical knowledge and technical skills
 7-  To be able to design and construct the small scale project with in-depth technical training and hand-on experiences.
 8-  To be able use Office programs, internet search engines, oral/written communication techniques with the field of the medical electronic
 9-  To be able to develop independent decision making skills, to work as a team member in the same and different disciplines, to gain the knowledge on professional and ethical values and marketing and safety
 10-  To become an individual who have the understanding of the importance of lifelong learning, and the one who can follow up the technological and scientific advancements and to make a progress
 11-  To be able to manage and inspect all biomedical systems for compliance with medical safety standarts and regulations.
 12-  To be able to perform tasks relating to administrative functions, preventive maintenance and calibration
Occupational Profiles of Graduates
The main business fields for graduates; - Interested in the production and / or private sector firms engaged in selling technical services or sales departments - public or private hospitals, technical services - private firms providing technical services. Some graduates establish their own businesses, some of them are working in different areas outside of the profession

Examination Regulations, Assesment and Grading
Course, depending on the needs of oral and / or written exams, projects and / or notes on the presentations given. Evaluation is done according to the 4-credit system.
Graduation Requirements
Biomedical Equipment Technology Program to graduate students must take four semesters of 120 AKTS'lik course.

Graduates who successfully complete this program;
