Once students have successfully completed all the requirements and graduation requirements in the curriculum program, they will graduate with Associate's Degree in the field of "Electricity".

Associate Degree


At the end of the program; • Be conscious about Atatürk Principles and become knowledgeable about the History of the Revolution. It effectively uses Turkic in individual or institutional communication processes. Have basic foreign language knowledge. • Has knowledge of mathematics that can do basic operations and circuit analysis. • Becomes able to present knowledge and skills to other individuals or colleagues by utilizing information technologies. • Have knowledge of computer hardware, know and use basic office software. • Understand basic information about materials, static, mechanics, fluids, magnetism. • Know basic electric quantities and concepts. Analyze DA circuits and use circuit theorems in solution. Identify and analyze AA circuit elements. • They have knowledge about the structure, working principle and control mechanisms of the electric machines and can understand the different working characteristics of the electric machines in the laboratory environment. • Know electrical units and transformations and solve simple problems. It can understand the structure, working principle and connection forms of electrical measuring instruments. • Design and simulate electrical circuits with computer aided drawing and simulation programs. Can make drawings of professional plans and projects. • Can make installation, maintenance-repair and measurements of electrical devices used in industry. • Can draw interior and exterior lighting techniques, calculations and projects on premises. • Design, analyze and implement control systems with PLC. • It has basic knowledge about the production and transmission of electricity energy. It has basic knowledge about the distribution, control and conservation of electricity energy. • Has knowledge about semiconductors, diodes, transistors and integrated circuits, passive and active circuit elements, rectifiers. Know the bases and applications of the power electron. • Identify the problem, solve the problem by applying the theory that is conceived with experiment and experience. They follow new technologies in the field of electricity and can show that they can apply what they learn.

Specific Admission Requirements

Students are admitted through an examination based on Higher Education ÖSYS (Student Selection and Placement Examination). The examination is held once a year and organized by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM). Candidates can enter the higher education institutions with a score obtained by combining ÖSYS examination scores and middle school achievement averages. Those who score above 150 with LYS-1 score can be placed in the program.

Specific Arrangements for Recognition of Prior Learning

Students enrolled at my university may request that they be exempted from the courses they have attended at the higher education institutions where they have already studied. To do so, they must submit their transcripts and course content to the relevant unit within the first week of the year of enrollment with a petition.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations

Ön Lisans Derecesi alabilme şartları, dağılımı aşağıda belirtilen 120 AKTS krediyi tamamlamak, 
a. Müfredatta belirtilen (21) zorunlu dersi içine alan (104AKTS) kredi
b. Müfredatta belirtilen (4) seçmeli dersi içine alan (16 AKTS) kredi

Profile of The Programme

The main aim of this program is to train specialists in the field of electricity by creating professional, technical and communicative skills of students. The program provides basic courses in electrical fields as well as preparation for a license. Professional knowledge, skills and attitudes acquired during the training period constitute the basic skills for doing technicians.

Professional professions of the festival include the following features: • Professional preparedness, professional adaptation to different situations, practical or basic professional training which is a prerequisite for ongoing technical or department work.

Access to Further Studies

After the associate degree, students may continue their Bachelor's degree studies at Universities related to the DGS examination.

Examination Regulations, Assesment and Grading

In the calculation of the student's success grade, the examinations are evaluated as written, oral, homework, project or laboratory studies according to the nature of the course. Evaluating the exams; One midterm exam 40% and / or a contribution of 40% to the achievement grade of the other studies that replace the midterm exam, and a contribution of 60% to the final grade of the final exam. For their own development, the projects are carried out under the supervision of the lecturers for the research related to the field they are studying. The make-up exam is required to bring the documents about the excuses to the unit with a petition until the end of the first working day following the end of the exams.

Graduation Requirements

The graduation requirements of the electricity program are based on the following conditions: * To take all the courses required for graduation within the periods specified in the related regulation and to be successful from the courses taken, to complete the program with a weighted GPA of at least 2.00

Graduates who successfully complete this program;
